How do I setup multi-store with TSS XP?

First install and setup TSS at all locations.

Then at each location assign a static internal IP address to the computer running the application server. (Note: It is recommended that you have a network administrator if you are not familiar with windows networking)

Then at each location forward port 4325 through any routers and firewalls to the internal IP address of the computer running the application server. (Note: It is recommended that you have a network administrator if you are not familiar with your router and firewall settings)

(Example for Linksys router)

Bring up the application server on the main computer and go to options, then click on test ports. It must come back successful for multi-store to work.

Now you will need to assign all of your stores to the same TSS workgroup, you will need to contact the help-desk in order to assign the new workgroup name.
